Tuna Curry
Who'd of thought you could curry tuna? This recipe was sent in by Darren Gibson. If there's anyone who can curry anything, and make it taste good, it's the Big D.
Ingredients:
- 1 large tin of tuna (same size as bean can)
- 1 onion
- half tin tomatoes
- half teaspoon chillies
- half teaspoon garlic
- half teaspoon ginger
- half teaspoon dhanja
- 2 tablespoons vinegar
- 1 tablespoon oil
- half cup of peas
- juice of half a lemon
Instructions
- Chop onion, add to a frypan and fry until golden
- Add marsala paste and keep on a very low heat for 5 minutes
- Add tomatoes and keep on a low heat for a further 5 minutes.
- Add fish and peas when sauce is thick
- Simmer on a very low heat for 30 minutes
- Add the juice of half a lemon when ready to serve.
