Sticky Chicken

Chicken drumsticks covered in a sticky sauce - so we call this Sticky Chicken.  Can't think of an anecdote, sorry, but if your guests don't like it they could lob it at you and it would stick!!!

Ingredients

  • 2 kg Chicken drumsticks or thighs, skin on
  • 1/2 cup Tomato Sauce
  • 1 cup Clear Honey
  • 1/2 cup Soy Sauce
  • 3 cloves Garlic, crushed - optional
  • 1/2 spoon Chilli Powder "optional" - or more if you like it HOT.

Instructions

  1. Put chicken bits into a casserole.
  2. Mix Tomato Sauce, Honey and Soy Sauce together.
  3. Add Garlic, if using. If not using, why not? What sort of a wuss are you???
  4. Add Chilli, if desired. "Ditto Garlic."
  5. Pour mixture over Chicken
  6. Bake, uncovered, at 180 C for at least 2 hours, until good and sticky and dark gooey brown, stirring every 30 minutes or so.
  7. Sprinkle with Parsley or Coriander "or both - go on be wild".
