Simple Bolognese Pizza

Ingredients

Bolognese Pizza
  • The Dough
    • 225g Self Raising Flour
    • 45ml of olive oil
    • 90ml warm water
    • 1/2 tsp salt
  • The Bolognese Topping
    • 1 small onion
    • handful of minced beef
    • tin of drained chopped tomatoes
    • tomato puree
    • 1 green pepper
    • 1 large mushroom
    • pinch oregano or mixed herbs
  • Grated Mozarella to finish
  • jalapenos garlic chilli (optional)

Instructions

  1. Fry the onions till soft, add the mince and brown it off before adding the mushrooms and peppers. I've also added a tin of chopped tomatoes, drain them well, and some tomato puree.
  2. While that's cook mix up the dough, mix the dry ingredients in a large bowl and slowly add the water and olive oil, mixing to form a dough. Knead the dough ball for a few minutes and roll out on a floured surface to for a pizza shape.
  3. Allow the bolognese mix to cool a little then spread it eveny over the pizza base and top if off with the grated mozarella.
  4. Bake in the oven at gas mark 7 or 220 degrees for around 10-12mins or until done.
